Mapleton, Utah · 1200 North

Two schools. One street. Let's keep 1200 North safe.

A K-7 charter school for up to 528 students is planned directly across the street from Hobble Creek Elementary. The school's own traffic study projects 534 car trips in the morning rush hour, and it counted traffic in June, when Hobble Creek was out for summer.

City Q&A, question 10

Two schools, one street

~980 kids (453 + up to 528) on one street. Estimate.

Enrollment: GreatSchools; charter agreement. Parcels: Utah Geospatial Resource Center (UGRC) / Utah County, informational only, not a survey. Streets: ©OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL).

What the traffic study missed

The school hired an engineering firm to study traffic. Their numbers are our strongest evidence, and so are the gaps.

Counted in summer

Traffic at the corner by Hobble Creek was counted June 24, 2026, when school was out.
